On February 9, 2026, we held our first EpiSignal workshop.
Together, we addressed topics including:
- Data management and implementation of FAIR data principles
- Introduction and principles of Electronic Lab books
- Responsibility of Supervisors and the Supervised as well as Resolving Conflicts
- Devising and Planning of Research projects; Good Research Practice
- Gender, Diversity & Unconscious Bias Awareness in academia
All of these topics are important foundations for a successful PhD. The workshop provided PhD students with a solid fundament of their work and for their journey to become independent researchers. In addition to provided information about support within the GRK3112 environment and at the University of Stuttgart.
