On January 15, 2026, the 3R-BioMedicUS of the University of Stuttgart invited Prof. Dr. Margareta Müller, Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences at Furtwangen University (HFU) and head of the 3R-Center at HFU, which is part of the 3R-Netzwerk Baden-Württemberg. In her talk, “3D in vitro tissue models for testing of anti-tumor therapeutics,” Prof. Müller highlighted how advanced 3D in vitro systems can improve the biological relevance of preclinical testing while supporting the 3R principles.
